In principle an artificial turf pitch is applied upon a drainage layer at the base, a crushed stone base and sometimes, depending on the system, additionally an elastic layer.

Variations of artificial turf constructions exist – the above mentioned solution may help you to have an idea about a suitable construction, according to the systems applied, some do with elastic layers others don’t, and of course financial possibilities.
