…about the White-House-Landscaping – from the vegetable garden to the installation of a safe playground for the President´s lovely daughters. The reason for choosing a renewable material for the White House playground is primarily the fact of safety - for Recycled Rubber has been shown to absorb more shock impact than any other playground surface materials. Furthermore the environmental effects of recycled tires (1.400 have been used solely for the White House´s playground) as well as the traditional look with its Green attributes have led to Obama´s decision for a rubber-equipped playground-area within the garden of the White House.

“We were told, Sasha and Malia love their new playground and we´re honored to be part of keeping them and millions of other children safe, while promoting a renewable resource”, Keith Sacks, Vice President of the assigned designing-company says.

While this is the first playground on the White House grounds, it is not the first use of recycled rubber. In 1993, during the Clinton Administration, a recycled rubber running track was installed.
